The BlackBerry® Operations team manages day-to-day operational issues to maintain high availability of the BlackBerry® Infrastructure. This involves reviewing and addressing all incidents and issues affecting BlackBerry network service, assessing system change requirements and planning for successful implementation of these changes.

Here are some of the positions that you will find within the BlackBerry Operations area:

Data Network Specialist

Data Network Specialists design, implement and administer security for the Corporate Data Network. Specialists contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced and highly technical team.

BlackBerry Notifications Operator

For the BlackBerry Notifications Operator, the primary focus is on sending network notifications internally and externally to customer and partner distribution lists. These will be done accurately, consistently and within strict timelines. The Operator is responsible for updating the Phone IVR system for each external event, and will work with the BlackBerry Service and BlackBerry Technical Support teams on BlackBerry network-related issues. This person also compiles and tracks all BlackBerry network events during a shift and generates daily reports. Additionally, the Operator corresponds with network partners and creates strategic accounts reports, adhering to confidentiality guidelines. This role is about monitoring many aspects of the BlackBerry service, actively contributing to its overall availability, and involves 24/7 rotating 12-hour shifts.
