As part of the RIM Sales team, you will be the face of RIM to our consumers and trade partners. You will have opportunities to acquire new business and grow existing sales volume. You will also be an advocate for the BlackBerry® solution. The RIM Sales team plays an integral role in marketing BlackBerry products to our clients as we deal directly with corporate customers, carriers, and indirect channels.

The RIM Sales team is involved in:

  • developing new partnerships and fostering these relationships
  • driving the sales strategy
  • presenting product updates to clients
  • giving program overviews such as sales incentives and customer promotions

Here are some of the positions that you will find within the Sales area:

Carrier Sales Manager

This role involves working with carrier sales personnel on sales planning, helping to identify opportunities and customer requirements leading to BlackBerry solution sales. The Carrier Sales Manager presents product updates, program overviews, sales incentives and customer promotions to the wireless carrier sales organization.

Technical Account Manager

The Technical Account Manager provides technical expertise and knowledge of the BlackBerry solution while articulating and championing the BlackBerry solution to customers and Carrier Sales Engineers. This role plays a critical part in helping to remove technical issues within key corporate accounts, as well as helping the carrier develop increased customer confidence in the BlackBerry solution.

Solutions Consultants

The Solutions Consultant is part of a dynamic group that proactively strategizes with customers and partners, to develop compelling business cases for leading edge mobility enterprise solutions. From within the MAP team, this person works closely with and supports RIM Sales teams, analyzing customer needs and together discovering the best mobility solutions to meet those needs.
