Epoch Integration Chosen By coreFusion To Enable 24/7 Monitoring of Hosted BlackBerry Solutions

Service provider will use Epoch Integration’s NeedTEXT Monitor for BlackBerry Enterprise Server to ensure high availability BlackBerry service to its customers

Wireless Enterprise Symposium - Orlando, FL - Epoch Integration Inc., a leading provider of software solutions that enhance the capabilities of organizations responsible for the support of the BlackBerry® wireless platform, developed by Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM), today announced that its BlackBerry infrastructure solutions have been chosen by coreFusion to help the company ensure high-performance hosted services to its customers.

Toronto-based coreFusion is an Application Hosting Provider offering hosted BlackBerry solutions to its customers.  For organizations that prefer not to host BlackBerry Enterprise Server™ within their own data center, coreFusion provides a cost-effective, fully managed alternative.

To ensure that their BlackBerry offering is as robust as possible, coreFusion will use Epoch Integration’s NeedTEXT Monitor for BlackBerry Enterprise Server to monitor their BlackBerry infrastructure on a 24/7 basis.  With NeedTEXT Monitor, coreFusion administrators will be able to define event thresholds and alert notification settings specific to the health of BlackBerry Enterprise Server and the physical hardware on which it resides.  The application will also gather key performance data about BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry handheld users that coreFusion will use to optimize their hosted service.

“We specialize in providing best of breed hosting solutions and it is imperative that we maintain a reliable, high-performance BlackBerry service for our customers,” said Pete McPhedran, president at coreFusion.  “NeedTEXT Monitor for BlackBerry Enterprise Server will be instrumental in maximizing the uptime of our hosted BlackBerry solutions.”

Epoch Integration is exhibiting NeedTEXT Monitor for BlackBerry Enterprise Server this week at the Wireless Enterprise Symposium, at booth #126 in the Solutions Showcase.  coreFusion is also exhibiting their hosted BlackBerry solutions at the Wireless Enterprise Symposium, at booth # 124.
