Izecom Enters BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program
Sunnyvale, CA - Izecom Inc, a leading provider of email encryption solutions that recently launched a product for S/MIME based email encryption for the BlackBerry® platform, today announces they have joined the BlackBerry® Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Alliance Program. The program will align Izecom with the BlackBerry wireless solution from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) as Izecom's mobile encryption solutions evolve.
“BlackBerry is the mobile email platform that is most widely used around the world,” said Christine Karman, President & CEO, Izecom. “At the same time, the need for email encryption has become obvious. We have a great solution for S/MIME email encryption on BlackBerry smartphones. By joining the BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program we can ensure that our products will continue to work seamlessly with the leading BlackBerry smartphones.”
Izemail for BlackBerry is a stand alone email encryption product that uses standard S/MIME and X.509 protocols for encrypting and decrypting email on a smartphone. The user interface has been designed so that no clicks or actions are required by a user to encrypt or decrypt email. Izemail works with BlackBerry smartphones that use BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, or with the BlackBerry® Internet Service.
